Straight out of Denver, The Phirejets bring you our own brand of “Classic-Style” Rock ‘n’ Roll. With our first two albums, Cosmos and Blue, we’ve spanned the most popular genres of the 1970s with everything from hard rock and metal, to blues rock and country, to dance and power ballads, through romance and soft rock. There’s something here for everyone!

ERICA BROWN

Vocals

Erica is well-known as “Denver’s Queen of the Blues,” but in taking the lead on Cosmos, she has shown the world that her award-winning pipes are equally suited for every manner of Rock and Roll. The band considers it a privilege to play along while she belts out our tunes, as B.B. King once did as well.

STU MILLER

Guitars, Vocals, and everything else!

While Stu’s “geek” side wants to produce, engineer, and arrange music for the band, he can’t help grabbing a mic or picking up a Fender and doing what he does best—bringing his music to fans everywhere. However, the band is still glad he’s an engineering genius!

JOSH SKELTON

Guitars

Josh’s mellow vibe might lead you to think that he’s best suited for slow picking, but that notion goes away quickly when he starts in to shred. Whether it’s a screaming lead, a wailing rhythm, or his soothing pedal steel, Josh has never met a set of strings he couldn’t bring to life.

ROQUI Lluma

Bass

Nobody knows for sure if Roqui was the inspiration for the Energizer Bunny, but the band wouldn’t be at all surprised if the rumors turned out to be true. Even with all her limitless energy, she can still lay down a smooth track on her Rickenbacker. (Any rumors that the Rick is taller than Roqui are absolutely false!)

TREVOR MARIOTTI

Drums

Trevor simply marches to his own beat. Fortunately, it’s a beat the band is psyched to get behind. The band takes great comfort in the fact that Trevor is always ready to cover up with a quick snare riff whenever the keyboard player misses a note, which seems to happen far too often.

PHIL BEAVER

Keyboards and Songwriting

Phil just wants to be a rocker. The band is still undecided, but Erica said she’ll vote “thumbs up.” Stu’s not so sure, but he is certain that Phil will never be a sound engineer (which explains why he is no longer allowed to touch any of the controls in the booth!).
