Rise Up was inspired by the current state of the Planet! Everybody seems to be taking sides, and we’re tearing ourselves apart. The Band thought this created an appropriate opportunity for a protest album. However, you might ask, “What are we protesting against?” Each side will claim that we need to Rise Up against the other, but in fact, this is a call to Rise Up above the hate and to replace the discord with discourse. Ultimately, though, we’ll let you decide.
